Top Ten Tuesday: Covers Or Titles

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is covers and/or titles that made me want to buy/read the book. I feel like this prompt was written for me, because I am very much someone who zooms in on a cool book title or a cute book cover when choosing books to read. And it makes sense in a way. When you stroll through chapters looking at rows and rows of book spines, the ones I pull out for a closer look are the ones with titles that have jumped out at me. All of the books on this list have made it on to my TBR because they have both a beautiful cover and an intriguing title.

  • The Looking Glass Wars – Frank Beddor.
  • The Book Of Lost Things – John Connolly.
  • Shiver – Maggie Stiefvater.
  • The Girl From The Well – Rin Chupeco
  • The Sound Of Stars – Alechia Dow.
  • Plain Bad Heroines – Emily M. Danforth.
  • Catherine House – Elisabeth Thomas.
  • The Girl Who Fell From The Sky – Heidi W. Durrow.
  • The List Of Things That Will Not Change – Rebecca Stead.
  • Many Points Of Me – Caroline Gertler.

Have you read any of these books? Are any on your TBR? Let me know!

  1. I remember buying and reading The Looking Glass Wars when I was a young teenager, it was a different cover to the one you have here but I think it was a combination of the title and cover that made me notice it.
The Sound of Stars and Plain Bad Heroines are two books that would definitely grab my attention in a bookshop.
