WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World Of Words. WWW Wednesday is a quick look and current update in the life of a reader, by answering three simple questions.
The three W’s are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you finish reading recently?
- What do you think you will read next?
What are you currently reading?
Tanabata Wish by Sara Fujimura. Oh my gosh, this is such a great read. Skyler is forced to travel with her family to Japan for the summer, but once there she slowly begins to discover more about the country as well as about herself.
Artstarters by Nicole Steiman. I have found myself in a bit of a rut lately, so I picked this up from a pile of books I’m hoping will inspire me.
What did you finish reading recently?
Diary Of A 6th Grade Ninja by Marcus Emerson. Chase is the new kid in school. When he and his cousin stumble on a secret group of ninjas, they are eager to join, hoping to create some strong friendships for Chase. But when the ninjas turn out to be trouble, Chase has some hard decisions to make.
Olga And The Smelly Thing From Nowhere by Elise Gravel. This had me smiling from start to finish, it is so cute. Olga is a young scientist with a big imagination, and a lovable personality. When she discovers a strange creature in her backyard, she sets about with a series of experiments and investigations to identify exactly what it is. Full of science, humour, and a good-hearted little girl, this was a great read.
Easter Escapade by Kathi Daley. I have really been enjoying mysteries lately, but I didn’t care for this one too much. I found the character of Zoe to be annoying, and everything felt so slow and drawn out, it was unfortunately a bit of a struggle to finish.
The Princess Saves Herself In This One by Amanda Lovelace. Such an amazing book of poetry that still has me thinking days after I finished it.
What do you think you read next?
‘Tis by Frank McCourt. I had this on my list a couple of weeks ago, but haven’t managed to open the book yet.
Fan Art by Sarah Tregay. I had this book recommended to me by a friend, so I’ve added it to the list.
101+ Creative Journaling Prompts by Kristal Norton. The next on my list for a little bit of inspiration.
