WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World Of Words. WWW Wednesday is a quick look and current update in the life of a reader, by answering three simple questions.
The three W’s are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you finish reading recently?
- What do you think you will read next?
Most of August ended being eaten up by packing and moving house, and admittedly I don’t have a ton of motivation for reading at the moment. The slump, if you will.
What are you currently reading?

For the month of September, I am participating in the month-long Bookoplathon hosted by Becca. The book I am currently reading for it, The German Midwife, meets the Historical Fiction prompt.
I’m also reading Stranded by Sarah Goodwin, which is an ARC I have on Netgalley.
What did you finish reading recently?

The only book I finished last week was The Summer Job, which I actually really liked. Birdy poses as her best friend Heather at a Scottish hotel. The only problem is that Heather is a trained sommelier, and Birdy definitely is not. I loved Birdy’s sass and wit, and was absolutely the thing I needed after a hectic month.
What do you think you will read next?

I have another Netgalley ARC that I’m planning to read right away – Eight Perfect Hours by Lia Louis. It looks cute and wintery, and I think after the heaviness of my books this week, I think something cute will be exactly what I need.
What are you reading this week?
The Summer Job looks so cute! I love that kind of escapism and my reading is so engaging but stressful right now, this might be exactly what I need to add to my night reading. Have a great week!

Don’t think I’m ready to switch to wintery reads yet – but love the cover of Eight Perfect Hours!

I’m not convinced I’m ready either, but it looks cute enough to make up for it.
